About
My Mission and Vision
My mission is to provide the best possible dog training education possible to set a standard of excellence in Armenia when it comes to K9 and handler training.
Philosophy
My entire purpose when training a dog is to give it enough discipline and conditioning to be able to live in a human world freely, with complete reliability and trust. I'm a firm believer that training should be fun and energizing rather than stressful or unpleasant. My goal is to make your relationship with your dog grow exponentially and help you communicate with each other.
Background
Training Style & Methods
For the most part, I'm a firm believer that positive reinforcement and clear communication can get you almost any desired result in dog training. However, there are dogs that I work with that are extremely physical and lack basic socialization, so it's necessary to speak their language. With high-drive breeds like Malinois or German Shepherds, it's important to set limits early and reinforce them with consequences as humanely as possible.
LEAST INTRUSIVE, MINIMALLY AVERSIVE.
In even the most high-risk situations, my goal is to use as little pressure as possible and make sessions as positive as I possibly can so the dog loves to learn. LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) means I'll use whatever method or exercise that is the least intrusive and causes the least amount of aversion or pressure. Using fear, pain, shock or cruelty are NOT training methods.
